  • Fresh food and prepared meals
  • Canned and dry foods that have not expired

We are able to accept:

  • New packaged bed linens, pillows, and towels
  • New bed items such as quilts and afghans

Please note: on move out our guests are permitted to take their pillows, bed linens and towels that were issued to them.

Because of the generosity of our community, we have an abundance of these items at the present time. Due to the current limited storage space we are unable to accept clothing, shoes, hats and purses at this time. We would ask that you please take gently used clothing, shoes and household items to the Second Chance Thrift shop at 975 Bacons Bridge Road, Summerville. They generously support our organization financially with the proceeds of their sales. Please also consider furniture donations to Home Again of Summerville who assist homeless with furnishings 843-327-3366.

  • Used bed linens, mattresses and pillows*
  • Used towels*
  • Opened toiletries
  • Opened food containers or expired food items

*Please note that we are very happy that you wish to donate these items. However, in the past we have suffered several bed bug infestations that have been very costly and extremely disruptive to the facilities. Therefore, due to a bed bug risk and for health and sanitary precautions, we want to protect our guests by not accepting these items. We apologize for the inconvenience but hope you understand we need to consider the best interests of our guests and staff. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

We are looking for volunteers as well as monetary contributions. You can also sign up as a sponsor for one of our next events!
